AWG Sponsorship

The Australian Writers’ Guild is proud to sponsor events, festivals, awards and programs that recognise, promote, reward and celebrate the work of screen and stage writers. 

What we expect from the events we sponsor:

  • The AWG logo to be featured in all marketing collateral and promotional material for the event, festival, award or program
  • Signage acknowledgement, including logo placement, of AWG’s sponsorship at the event, festival, awards or program
  • 1 x Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) to the organiser’s mailing list of stakeholders, invitees or participants, promoting the work of the AWG (content supplied by AWG)
  • Social media coverage of AWG’s sponsorship on the organiser’s social media platforms
  • All terms and conditions for participation in the event must reflect AWG’s minimum standards
  • All terms and conditions for entry into any competition run as part of the event must reflect AWG’s minimum standards
  • Two free tickets to the event for AWG members or an AWG member discount for tickets to the event, where applicable
  • That at least one writer is on the Award’s judging panel
  • That where possible writers are fairly compensated for their time and expertise in judging or contributing to the event, festival, awards or program
  • The opportunity for an AWG member to present the award if an AWG is sponsoring an award.
