Monte Miller Award - For an unproduced script by an Associate Member • Short Form (up to and including 30 minutes*) • Long Form (over 30 minutes) Top Judging The AWGIES are unique in the industry in that they are the only writers' awards judged solely by writers, and the judging is based on the written script - the writer's intention rather than the finished product. It would not be possible to present the AWGIE Awards each year without the generosity of the members who volunteer their valuable time and skill to judge the hundreds of entries received. As the only peer assessed writing awards in Australia it is vital that we have a team of judges who have the experience to recognise and reward writing excellence. Therefore each year we set up a register of AWGIE Judges who can be called on if required to assist in the adjudication process. If you have not already judged the AWGIEs in the last 3 years and would like to register your interest you need to be a Full member and tell us what category (or categories) you are best qualified to judge based on a previous AWGIE Award or nomination in that category and/or a sufficient body of work consisting of a minimum of 10 credits as a writer or 20 credits as a script editor.
