Writing team Andrew Connell and Gordon Napier have won the Australian Writers’ Guild Terror Australis Horror Script Competition with their outstanding script Till Death Do Us Die.
In the script a happy occasion goes terribly wrong and a groom must battle supernatural forces when a cursed wedding ring unleashes an ancient evil upon his bride on their wedding day.
Till Death Do Us Die was chosen from 130 scripts entered in the AWG’s first ever Horror competition and will now be read by renowned genre producers Chris Brown (Daybreakers, The Proposition), David Lightfoot (Wolf Creek, Rogue), Josh Reed (Primal) and Andrew Traucki (Black Water, The Reef). In addition to an audience with these producers, Andrew and Gordon have won an invaluable micro-mentorship with Australian Masters of Evil Shayne Armstrong and Shane Krause (Acolytes).
