The Australian Writers’ Guild 43rd Annual AWGIE Awards are now open for entries.
The AWGIE Awards are the Australian Writers' Guild’s annual awards for excellence in film, television, stage, radio and new media writing. The AWGIEs are the only peer assessed awards for performance writers with judging based on the written script - the writer's intention - rather than the finished production.

THIS COURSE HAS REACHED MAXIMUM NUMBERS
A Two-Day Course with Tim Ferguson exploring the principles of creating and writing narrative comedy for television and film. Participants will be shown how to construct a sitcom or narrative comedy from the ground up, making choices in terms of theme, sub-genre, character, structure, morality, style and tone. The course focuses upon the principles of jokes and narrative humour.
