2007 NATIONAL SCREENWRITERS’ CONFERENCE HOLDING ONTO YOUR VISION

Hosted by the Australian Writers' Guild and with the generous support of Film Victoria, Australian Film Commission and NSW Film and Television Office the 2007 National Screenwriters' Conference Holding Onto Your Vision provides a unique opportunity to bring together rAustralia’s leading screenwriters and industry professionals.

The National Screenwriters’ Conference aims to:

• Bring Australia’s leading screenwriters together
• Develop creative, professional and commercial partnerships
• Foster creativity and innovation
• Discuss current industry trends and developments
• Consider the creative processes and market realities for writers
• Identify and exploit future opportunities

Conference sessions will deal with craft; local and global production environments; case studies of Australian and overseas work across film, television and new media. Beyond the sessions there will be networking opportunities and social events; micro-mentorships; and small round table sessions to find out what presenters and networks really want. The NSC brings writers and key industry professionals together to explore their craft and design their future.
